ATTENTION BRISBANE & SURROUNDS,
The State Library is hosting Queenslanders in Conversation and the next open conversation topic will be discussing "digital humans" and the effect of this technology on us. I thought this would be a great opportunity for those who are local to present a united front expressing our grave concerns regarding AI/5G but also to those further afield to saturate the online discussion for this event. I have registered (its free) but would love to have other awake & aware peeps join me. Let's make our thoughts known and leave a lasting impression.
Let me know if you register - firstname.lastname@example.org
The following info is copied from their website.
How are wearable technologies impacting our day-to-day lives? To what extent is the digital world merging with the human body and what are the consequences of this? In the final Queenslanders in Conversation event for 2017, ABC Brisbane radio presenter, Kelly Higgins-Devine, will facilitate an open conversation with guest panellists, audience members and online viewers.
Can’t make it in person? Watch live streamed events on our website, and join the conversation online using #digitalfutures.
Date: Wednesday 1 November
