Started in geology/sciences , then took the degree in English Lit because I was exhausted from full time job plus full time class load. Regrets! I thought I would go back but never did.

Bella, Unschooling is the way to go! That's what I'm doing with my kids. They have complete control over their learning and no standardized testing and they are doing great!

B.A. in Japanese and linguistics at Lund University, + a couple of extra language and history courses (6 years of university studies).

I believe to some a long education could be a double-edged sword as the event and first contact is going to bring in a completely new generation of science. We will have to reinvent our physics, maths, biology, history and probably many more fields on many levels. We will have to be humble to be able to handle this transformation properly.
