Paul Thanks fourfingerz, looks like we are doomed to live through the most interesting and greatest period of opportunity the world's ever seen. Let's do it!

[deleted user] I do believe that Clif promised us that if his predictions for the Global Coastal Event didn't materialize (since the language was nearly "100% certain" that we were all going to die in 2013) that he'd find something else to do with his time, didn't he? Every 6 months Clif comes out with predictions that masses of people are going to die, the end of the world is going to arrive, etc., etc., and honestly, it's a little tiring. Sells reports though, doesn't it?

fourfingerz Clif is eccentric and he may be delusional but I believe he is sincere. I haven't financially supported him, just following his You-Tube channel . But old eccentric delusional guys do have to make an income - some how. And I do agree with his conclusions on courses of action. :-)

[deleted user] He may be sincere, I can't speak to his intention, but I do find it immoral for people to use fear to sell their wares. This goes for any of the baser emotions, such as lust, desire, anger, etc., that our current advertising employs. In Clif's case, and in the case of many other doomsdayer's out there (I won't name names, they get enough attention as it is), they never offer any real solutions, other than to buy there shit. Berkey water filters, emergency rations, guns and ammunition, vitamin supplements, orgonite, whatever they're hawking. In fact, I even heard Clif at one point offer the solution that all able bodied men should run off into the wilderness and learn how to live off the land, and hide in the forest. Probably not bad advice for people to develop survival skills, and there's something to be said for being alone in the wilderness and coming into intimate contact with Mother Nature, but as a sole solution to a forecast crisis that never materialized? Not good advice. To each his own, and if Clif wants to spend his time terrorizing people into making unsound decisions about their lives, and if people are willing to pay to be terrorized, so be it, but I find this man offensive on multiple levels. Not the Rishi he portrays himself as, and no healer of souls this one.
